SOCIAL WORK, AND CONSULTANCY SERVICES
Social Workers and counsellors provide clinical and consultative social work services to individuals to meet their psychological needs, including:
- Poverty elimination, housing, education, empowerment, and employment
- Mental health
- Addiction
- Relationship and family conflicts
- Child welfare, child protection, youth at risk, and parent-child relationship issues
- Family Assistance Programme (FAP)
- Employment and Family Assistance Programme (EFAP)
- Conflict resolution, crisis intervention, culturally appropriate, and strength-based approaches to counselling
- Marginalization and empowerment
- First Nations and Aboriginal populations and other racialized communities for empowerment and social inclusion.
